The AGN SCHOOL is an educational institution started by THE GIFT FOUNDATION on June 5, 1998 to promote education in the rural areas of Tamil Nadu. The rural education initiative has received overwhelming support from parents, the public, and well-wishers from India and abroad. We like to especially acknowledge the generous support and guidance received by us from the TAMIL NADU FOUNDATION (TNF) in the United States of America.

The Gift Foundations first project was the establishment of AGN SCHOOL in 1998-99 with the help of Tamil Nadu Foundation Inc., USA and commenced the operation of AGN Matriculation School in June 1998 in a renovated farm house with less than 200 students. The school has grown to over 1700 students today and offers classes from kindergarten to 12 the grade.
